The officer could not have had a better view of that giant knife which was actively being swung to go deep into the pink girl.

While not entirely surprising to those who can fog a mirror, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki's response to the police shooting of a knife-wielding black teen in Columbus suggests either she did not view the video of the event, or The White House could not give two f**ks about facts when there's racial division and anti-cop hatred narratives to sow.

Specifically, Psaki called the fatal police shooting of the teenage girl, "tragic" and said that President Biden has been briefed on the matter.

“The killing of 16-year-old Ma'Khia Bryant by Columbus police is tragic. She was a child. We are thinking of her friends and family and the communities that are grieving her loss,” Psaki said at a briefing when asked whether Biden had been briefed on the shooting, replying in the affirmative.

Then Psaki piled on, noting that Ma'Khia's death came amid a moment of hope for progress in fighting racism in policing:

“We know that police violence disproportionately impacts Black and Latino communities and that Black women and girls, like Black men and boys, experience higher rates of police violence. We also know that there are particular vulnerabilities that children in foster care like Ma'Khia face."

Social media users ripped The Daily Beast for publishing misinformation about the fatal police shooting of 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant in Columbus, Ohio on Tuesday.

In its original report, The Daily Beast quoted Bryant's aunt, Hazel Bryant, as its primary source. She told reporters her niece was the one who called the police and that she was given no warning before they shot at her. She added the police would "lie" about the altercation with her niece.

"The police are going to lie," said. "The police are going to cover up for themselves. They don’t care. At this point, I feel like they’re just out to kill Black people. They’re not here to protect and serve. That isn’t happening. That’s been over a long time ago. They’re not here to protect and serve. They’re here to kill Black folks."

Good lord man! Can the police return to shoot the Aunt too? Or section 12 her crazy ass?

If he wanted to cover himself, the officer could have waited till MakHia got a few stabs in before he blasted her.

The pink girl would have died, but at least he officer would have his job, life, home, and his family would be safe.

In Baltimore, the cops don't even get involved in this crap.

The facts don't matter at this point. This LEO was in an impossible position, had to make a split-second decision as to whether the girl with the knife was actually going to stab the girl dressed in pink or not. It sure looked like it.

So now the police have "murdered a 15 year old girl." /SARC

Indeed. If he did nothing and that girl in pink got stabbed to death, he'd be seen as being in dereliction of duty to protect. This was truly a no-win situation for him.
