It's not fair to tax the rich more, but the wealth gap in this country is ridiculous and getting worse. The rich continue to get richer and the middle class continues to disappear. I don't think the answer is to take more money from the rich and give it to the scum, but the status quo is not working.
I don't know, but all of this anti-american socialist "this isn't fair because the government isn't giving me my fair share at life" talk is making my penis very soft. How the f a talk about Barry not liking the AK-47 turns into a bunch of closet progressives talking about how life isn't fair because the government doesn't give them what they deserve is beyond my comprehension. I'd like for them to show up at a AK build that I help out at so I can ask them what part of an AKM is socialist.... wait. Shit.
I'm going to go build another AK tonight and tomorrow, drink a ton of beer, listen to some music, and bask in the glory that my fine country has provided the opportunity for me to realize. Can I do this in f'ing England? How about Canada? Australia? Anywhere? Hell f'n no.
I can drink beer and build AKs in my own home, no matter what Obama wants to spout off about what he approves of or not.
And that will make me hard again. An erection built not on lust, but on bliss that I live in a free world.
Regarding SS there is and could never be an investment in treasuries as treasuries are simply a taxation on future production, not an investment. You paid into a ponzi scheme and now feel entitled to collect from the next batch of suckers.
Corporate bonds very different from treasuries. That they both describe their yield and terms in similar ways is where the similarity ends.Treasuries are bonds; they are not fundamentally different from corporate bonds, which I hope you will agree are intended to be viewed as investments. If bonds are "ponzi" schemes then what would consider to be a true investment?
Yeah the days of spending like drunken sailors are over. This monster in DC needs a diet. The problem people like you don't understand is even if you tax the shit out of the "rich" it still won't solve the gov's money problems. The only way to solve those problems is to stop/cut spending- going so far as to eliminate entire cost centers from government. "Taxing the rich" in the face of the whole problem is effectively pissing into the wind. It's feel good bullshit pushed by moonbats. Next thing you know "rich" gets interpreted to be "anyone above the poverty line".
This class warfare shit is stupid, dude, really. You're playing right into the pols hands by buying into it the way you are. The core problem is spending, not revenue.

You didn't clarify anything with your ignorant/incorrect burden of proof comment nor did you clarify anything or add anything intelligent with your tail comment. What you posted was simply stupidity.
BTW, as a judge I never had a decision reversed on appeal. So if you want to be a jerk and make more stupid comments like that, go ahead. I won't see them directly. You're going on my ignore list. I wouldn't use any of the terms you list to describe you. I'd say troglodyte is appropriate.

So what do you say to the fact that wealth is increasingly concentrated at the top and the middle class is shrinking? Is it just a product of the times (globalization, more hi-tech / high-skilled jobs, etc)? Can/should anything be done about it? Where do we end up if we continue down this path?
If you're going to try to take pot shots you either have to learn to read for comprehension (I said his pain, not mine) or make inane comments that at least make logical sense. Why is that, because he slapped you around with it? Just asking
Hallelujah, I keep hearing the American dream is dead but I'm not seeing it in reality. What I do see is people who didn't have the drive to succeed, couldn't take a risk or made bad choices who then complain that the American Dream is dead because they [STRIKE=]haven't been able to make it happen for themselves[/STRIKE] haven't had it handed to them.

Guess I need to add troglodyte to that list now. First time I've been called that one.
