I am looking for the specific chapter/section of MGL pertaining to the posession of rifles, shotguna nd pre-ban > 10 round mags by non-residents visiting MA for a match. I know that "firearms" (handguns) are covered by 140/131G, but am looking for the rifle/shotgun coverage - or reference to an more inclusive definition in 131G.
I am not looking for an explaination of the law, but of a reference to the MGL. As a non-lawyer, I feel comfortable telling people to "look at MGL Chapter X Section Y on the MA State web site", however, I do not want to get into explaining the law to them as that borders on giving advice.
