Report: NH lacking in gun background checks
WASHINGTON -- The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence says New Hampshire hasn't made progress in improving gun background checks since a bill was enacted last year to improve state submission of records about dangerous cases.
The campaign is named after former White House Press Secretary James Brady, who was permanently disabled in 1981 by a gunshot wound during an assassination attempt on President Reagan.
According to federal government sources, the campaign says New Hampshire has only submitted 80 percent of appropriate records of people convicted of felonies.
Idiots.
