Ok I seem to have found a URL change that was overlooked I think.

The link to get into topics works fine. However, if you click the picture underneath the link, it is resolving as the old url structure and not the new one.

If you hover the mouse over the link and hover over the picture/icon the url is different.

You're quite right. I'll get that fixed.

Thanks!

I was just coming on here to post that no intra-forum URLs are working for me. I've used multiple computers and get the same thing. If I click on a link that takes you to another thread, it only bumps me back to the main forum page. It's been happening for a few days now (decided to wait a bit to see if it was just buggy).

Here's an example:
http://www.northeastshooters.com/vbulletin/threads/225525-**price-drop**Body-armor-250

If I click that link, I get brought to the main page but the URL in the address bar shows the link I clicked. Reloading the page does nothing.

That link works just fine for me on my work and home PC. Can you try logging out and accessing it as a guest?

Alright. I did some research on this - the problem is that your browser has cached the redirects previously in place. You need to *completely* clear your browser cache (not cookies).

There are instructions here how to clear it for each browser:

Thanks!

I kept getting redirected to http://www.northeastshooters.com/vbulletin/forum.php whenever I tried clicking on a forum other than Members. Works after clearing the cache.

Huh. I tried what you suggested and completely cleared my cache from the beginning of time, logged out and back in, and it's still doing it. If I click the link above, it takes me to his 'for sale' thread. However, if I click the link within his thread, it takes me to http://www.northeastshooters.com/vbulletin/forum.php . It does the same thing for me clicking on all links in threads posted by others.

Both of my computers started doing it at the same time, which led me to believe it was a forum or account issue, not a browser one. Ok, I just checked it on my phone also, and it's doing the exact same thing - different device, different OS, different browser, different internet provider. I appreciate you looking into this, sHORTY.

ETA - as an aside, I saw someone was having trouble accessing the milsurp forum, which is working fine for me.

Alright. Two different issues here.

Unfortunately, links in prior posts are mostly broken, and I can't fix them. The fact that you can view the thread means that your side of the issue is fixed.

Ah, ok. I remember now that your "Attention" post at the top of the forum last week mentioned that old links might break? I guess that's what this is. I'll let you know if it happens with newly-created links also, but I guess we'll call it solved for now. Thanks again.

Yeah, this is exactly that.

The old links looked like :
Code:
http://www.northeastshooters.com/vbulletin/threads/225525-**price-drop**Body-armor-250

the new ones look like:
Code:
http://www.northeastshooters.com/vbulletin/threads/225262-Body-Armor-250**price-drop**
Unfortunately, because of the way the addresses changed, there just isn't a way for me to reliably redirect from the old to the new.

Found another one. It looks like URL's when posted in a thread no longer auto-resolve the title. Not all links worked before of course but most did. Now none do this.

For example, links to NES threads used to autoresolve and show the title, the one below should do that but it does not and instead just shows the URL.

This was a feature of the program that we had to remove. I will see if I can find a replacement for this function, but I'm not sure if it exists.

Ah ok. That was a very nice feature from a users useability perspective.
