“Active” URL Links Not Working?

WSJ permalinks like the above used to show more graphic detail (like below) rather than just the URL itself. Is that a change in forum software or the WSJ link format?

That’s new. Maybe just an automatic software thing because ‘guns’?

How would I phrase a request to them to stop that?

It's honestly probably not isolated to our forum here - there's an ongoing war between paywalls and the bots that capture these content snippets. Sometimes the paywalls go overboard and start blocking the bots intentionally for a bit.

I'll do a little more digging over the weekend and see if I can't get things working again.

Thanks. WSJ is one of the few subscription sites that have unlimited sharing of articles. Perhaps the numer of articles I can share is unlimited but they restrict how broadly I can share them.
