New Kimber mag problem..

I just got a bunch of new blue Kimber mags from Midway. I'm having a problem loading them. Their awfully stiff and will only take 4 rounds.

I'm going to the range with them tonight but I'm having serious doubts about how well they will work. Even trying to take the top round out after it's in is hard.

I was thinking about spraying the insides with a degreaser but would rather not if I could avoid it.

Is there an easier way to cure this?

Replace the springs.

Personally, I use mags from Wilson Combat in my 3 Kimbers.

Try loading the mags and leaving them loaded. This may help. Some people say that springs don't lose tension and this does nothing. I've done it before and it "seemed" to help me. I'm not a spring engineer but this would seem to help.

I have 2 SS Kimber mags no prob...and a blue that came with it... NO probs..

Did buy the Tripp mags and LOVE THEM
