Another French milsurp for the collection.

Berthier Carbine, cool little weapon, has some cool arsenal repairs and overall a lot of character, looking forward to making it bark. This one is from Établissement Continsouza instead of the more common Saint Etienne or Chatellerault manufactured rifles. Dates it sometime after 1914 (need to dig a little deeper on its birth date)

So, the cool thing about that .22 plinker. I took my son to the shop and had him pick some stuff out just for fun (he's 3). He picked that rifle out, got all excited and giggly. I bought it, took it home. The serial number on that rifle is exactly the same as one I had bought new, then sold 4 years ago. Yes, I bought my own rifle back. The cool part is that HE picked it out.
