New Acquisitions for September 2009!

Paul, nice pics, nice guns [grin] And when I first saw the 10/22 I got REALLY confused... "You can convert M14 mags for 10/22's?! wait... what?" [smile]

Thanks Hanwei.

The 10/22 was just playing grownup.

Also, I really want one of those LWRC uppers.

Get one! If you ever want to try mine out just let me know and we'll meet up at MRA.

Tks. Very appreciated.

I eventually want to get a piston driven AR (or similar). From what I've been able to read, LWRC seems to have the best rep though LMT and POF seem good also. An XCR is another possibility.

Couple of new photos the Little Lady bought for my birthday.

1851 Navy .36 (by Uberti) black powder.

Beautiful! [grin] How does it shoot?

Haven't shot it yet. Got to find a kind soul to show me the proper way of shooting it.

Well, that's a great gift, Mike - and now you can pin a sheriff's badge on your chest and carry your big gun.....I'm having visions....[smile]

There's a new sheriff in town. [grin]

You won't go wrong with LMT, POF, or the RobArms XCR. The LWRC was just exactly what I wanted (spec wise) [smile]

Smith & Wesson model 34-1 .22LR J-frame. My rimfire trainer for the Snubbie from Hell™ (S&W Model 360PD) and the model 38.

I noticed that as well and from other pictures I was sent the smith logo is on the right side.

Partly obscured by the grips.

looks like S&W Performance Center franken-revolver. was it refinished? its missing the smith logo under the cylinder release.

Latest addition built on the 2009 NES lower from Remsport. Upper is a CMMG flat top with a 16" chrome lined 1/7 twist. Bottom rifle is last year's AA lower with matching upper built into a dedicated .22rf. It has an M1 Sales light weight 16" barrel and dedicated bolt.

Just out of the box & wrapper: H&R Pardner .410 full choke. Sorry for the poor pics. I'll try to get some in the daylight tomorrow.

I like this shot the best. Looks almost like it has a tiger stripe.

The Beretta 92 and the 10/22 are the first guns I've bought that haven't been used. What's more, I've finally caught up to the governors recommendation of one gun/month!
