I'm having a hard time getting an idea of just how powerful these lasers are. They are clearly able to detonate the HE or Fuel of a rocket, but could they also be used to, say, disable a vehicle by destroying the engine (say an outboard motor) or even be directed against the hull of a boat?
Things are looking grim for Raytheon's Patriot umbrella system by the looks of this video.
