Massachusetts fireworks fans blast Bay State ban

Even going back I never heard of anyone ever getting cited. You might if you were told to stop and you didn't and they came back again... maybe. The police only seemed to get pissed if they seemed to be getting calls from the same whiners over and over again, and it almost seemed like the cops were more upset at the people calling than at the people shooting off the fireworks.

I head to NH a few weeks ahead of the holiday and amass a large cache of patriotism. If I set them off a little early or a little late, the cops are slowly cruising down the street within 10 minutes. During the holiday, I set off tons of fireworks, and the cops are nowhere to be seen.
