Florida, for as effed up as its gun laws were in the 90's, did one thing right. They used to have a waiting period for handgun purchases. However, if you had a LTC the waiting period didn't apply. Rational: you already waited, you already likely own a gun, what would making you wait 7 days to acquire another one accomplish?
