M&P 45c approved yet?

I know I'm probably expecting too much, but does anyone know if the M&P 45c (compact) has been approved in Mass yet? If not, any forecast?

My searches turned up nothing.

i want one too. i have the .40 compact so i might go for the full size .45 i have been very happy with my M&P

They said it was priced $575.

For some reason they don't have any of the ones with external thumb safety. I hope that's not restricted in MA, I really want that feature.

Mine had the thumb safety and I really did not see the need for it. If I get another one (which I plan on) it will not have the thumb safety and hopefully not the mag disconnect either.

I am guessing they have the ones without thumb safeties b/c they now have 10+ pound triggers where as when they first came out in MA they all had thumb safeties in an attempt to satisfy the AG.

$575 is not too bad, they will probably be around $550 in every other shop.

Glad to see the full size is finally available again. Now hopefully they'll get moving on the compact. Always nice to see another firearm slip through the dragnet of BS regulations.

Just called the SSC, the only ones available to MA residents so far do NOT have the thumb safety OR mag disconnect. They are $556 plus tax.
