Picked this one up from a fellow NES'r. A Ruger Redhawk, .44 Magnum, 5-1/2" barrel.
I guess that I've come full circle. I had one these way back, first year of production, and let it go in a weak moment.
I see the Redhawk as a sort of "state of the art" example of modern revolvers.

Three pounds of wrist-snappin' fury. A real hairy fisted he-mans handcannon.
If the Vikings would have had these, we'd all be talking funny.

Yup your not alone i own more wheelguns than autos and i also picked one
up just like that one you have a 5 1/2 incher i have Houge ruber grips on that
one and also on my 7 1/2 incher that is scoped for hunting although i would
love to find some of those B-Ts you have, but i will have to stick with my
hand loads 300 Grainers thats for the 7 1/2 i dont think i will try those in
the 5 1/2 so enjoy that beauty and dont get weak and sell this one!!

That's a lot of Single Actions... I would love to find just a few Colt Clones... But they are almost impossible to find here in MA. I just want two that look alike.. in .357 and 5-1/2... Is that too much to ask?? LOL!

You need to take a close look at the Ruger New Vaquero. They are as close as you want to get to a Colt. I have a 5-1/2" cc and blue in 45 Colt that is very nice. It is a completely different gun than the original Vaquero.

Yes.

I'm still working it out. We'll just have to see how it turns out in the end.
I've got just about one of everything interesting that Ruger makes, so I'm looking at more Smiths these days.
But, if the new 4" Redhawk ever makes the list,

I checkd one out a few days ago, and I do believe that I need to treat myself to one. I have no intention of dressing like a cowboy, but there is something inherently cool about SAAs.
