Little Neck home invaders rape woman twice while stealing thousands in cash: cops

Two men robbed and raped a 34-year-old woman and terrorized her family during a home invasion in Little Neck over the weekend, police reported.

We recently had a debate here about whether my wife's .223 caliber Mini 14 Ranch rifle and 10 round magazines, our 12 gauge extended magazine Remington 870s, etc are legal on my FID or her MA resident alien rifle/shotgun license. Honestly, I never really gave a shit and now I do even less. Our rule is to defend ourselves and our two beautiful little daughters. I told my wife, Jill, to not hesitate to blow a home invader's brains out right then and there, then call 911 after the perp was on the floor in a pool of blood. I will choose to be a live defendant facing multiple felony charges over being a dead victim any day of the week!

Who keeps 8k in cash in a nightstand? sounds like someone knew about the cash. Wonder if the perps left DNA while they were raping and robbing?
This. Sounds like they split with $9800 in cash according to the article. Something tells me the perps knew the victim and she ain't squawking about how they knew each other.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. And I sincerely hope nothing like that ever happens, because the above post will almost certainly be used as evidence against you, of premeditation.

Drug dealers - restaurant owners - call girl/ escort service - happy ending massage parlors. The perps made off with almost 10k in cash.
In terms of DNA, they may as well have dropped their wallets. Dumbasses.

As romantic as that sounds. Doesn't sound like this woman had much of a chance.

according to the article, there were seven other people in the house at the time. assuming not all of them were guests and at least one of them is another resident, in which case that person could have made a difference if trained and had access to a firearm. it's one reason why my wife agreed to get her LTC, and we've also talked about not keeping all the guns locked up in one location in the house should we encounter a break in while we're home in the living room.

even so, I don't disagree with the romanticism you're referring to we all sort of have about envisioning ourselves repelling a home invasion successfully... but doesn't mean I'm not going to set my family up for best odds in the extremely off chance it does happen. and in MA with the opioid problem, break ins are far more common than you think.

Wrong Little Neck. Damn. I'm thinking, "Wow. Inside job for sure since there is like 20,000 people in Mass in total that would know how to get to and from and what houses are occupied at this time of the year."

Sounds like an inside job anyhow. Who the hell keeps $10,000 in cash hanging around the house??

If it had not been stolen, and the cops found it during the investigation, they would have confiscated under forfeiture laws. Then told the woman to sue if she wanted it back.

I hope it never happens. But if it does, you better get the best lawyer and tell your wife (and yourself) to STFU.

That includes posting things online like you just did. That is plain f***ing stupid.

Notice I didnt quote everything to give you a chance to delete it.

I agree. Unarmed victim. Mistake #1. Hope she learned her lesson and purchases a gun for protection.

As said above, you may want to delete your previous post and ask anyone who quoted it to delete it as well. I’d make sure every weapon and magazine in the house is legal for you to have as well. I’d lose the Mini 14 on an FID and go to an SKS or a shotgun. But that’s just me.

We have shotguns. Three 12 gauge 870s. I can handle them quite well. Wife can't handle the recoil. She does great with the Mini 14 Ranch Rifle and 10 round magazines. A hit in the skull with a .223 is far more effective than a 12 gauge round that blows a hole in the floor or ceiling instead of the assailant. Just my opinion.

Yep - misses don't count, so anything you can hit with is better that a big bore miss machine. I personally like something that I can manipulate easily in close quarters.

You would be surprised. It's not an unusual practice. I know at least 10 people/families that have at least that much available in their house and/or business.

Yep. Lots of folks like to keep a few bucks handy for emergencies or to take advantage of a good deal that comes along.

Asian calendar on the wall.

7 other people in one room?

Happy Ending House?

Maybe they own Kowloons?

I think you can get a gun to keep in the house.

Just can't CCW.
NYC rifle/shotgun permit allows no more than 5 rounds in the gun. Remington 870 with a plus 1 mag tube increases mag capacity to the legal 5 round max. Ruger Ranch Rifle version of the Mini 14 (like my wife has) is legal with the 5 round magazines that it ships with
Those would be my choices for NYC. Solid and reliable!

Oh I have cash all the time. But you HAPPEN to have another EIGHT GRAND sitting in another drawer?????

No question the shooters KNEW they had dough. This wasn't random.
