Let's see those target pictures - post 'em here

DSC01975.jpg

5.56 - 5 shot group 100 yds 5.56 shell casing for scale, Nikon Monarch scope with a bipod 1" between the rings. I'm guessing that it should be about dead on at 200 yds.

Took my daughter to the range for the first time the other week, she's 12. She shot the Marlin model 60 .22LR.
This is her first target at 25 yds. Not bad!

Basic Firearms Safety Course. Live Fire part of the class.

The two I missed were during my rapid backing up from attacker while drawing drill, I have to work on that, it's usually the first and second shots before full arm extension that I miss.

100 yards with my 1896 Krag off the bench, iron sights. 205 gr cast Lyman #311299 gas-checked with 17 gr Alliant 2400.

The cluster just outside the 9 ring was a final four shot group. That's like a 3/4 inch or so group. The non-grouped shots were figuring out where it was aiming. The bullseye was a Kentucky windage shot after the four shot group. ;)

I'll zero the sights next trip.

Savage 116 .30-06 bolt action fired off bi-pod through a Bushnell 3-9 x40mm variable scope through the side of a fridge into a double can charge of Tannerite. From about 65 yards or so.

I also shot two of the lug nuts off the front tire from the kneeling position.

Edit: off hand @ 20 yards

wow...embarrassed to even post mine. but this is my first real time taking my sr40 to the range. been out 2x before hand, but by myself w/o any instruction (so basically just flushing $50 down the drain). got some sight alignment and other tips from an expert and this was at 18 yards. Clearly a long way to go but relatively happy with these results.

does the trigger have a very stiff pull? or in other words, is it mass compliant? looks like you might be jerking it a bit, but not bad. I wouldn't want to break into your house.
