Just left Reed's Indoor Range, Santa Clara, CA. Turns out they're the biggest Les Baer supplier west of the Mississippi. So, of all the shinny guns in the case (none of which you can buy in Massachusetts) which one did I rent? That's right - The Les Baer Thunder Ranch Special. And let me tell you, even for a rental, that gun is everything it's hyped up to be. One of the guys behind the counter pulled out a new model that a customer had just ordered and was waiting to pick up, and the slide was so tight I could barely get it back. Beautiful firearm! Anyone else have a chance to shoot one?
