Hmmm let's see. A man in a hotel room with a bunch of weapons. Sounds familiar.

Most pharmaceuticals CAUSE, rather than CURE psychotic behavior.
If the doc mis-doses forget it man.
I knew someone with acute lithium poisoning and they wanted to lock him up. Thought the guy was severe bipolar. One doc decided to actually look at what the guy was taking, thought the dose was high, and tested him for toxicity. After a month he was back to normal.
Let's consider a possibility for the Hawaii scenario. Let's say the guy really is sick in the head and there's the possibility that he was planning a Vegas II. Irresponsible rights trampling, or simply good police work to prevent another pile of bodies the libtards can use as a podium?
Is that last thing a complete sentence?
Unless you're the modern minority report precog there's no way to conclude that its anything other than a gross violation of the guys constitutionally guaranteed rights
And not simply for depression. Long-term low doses of some anti-depressants are used off-label by gastroenterologists to treat IBS.The number is HUGE because SSRI anti-depressants are not the sole realm of psychiatrists, but are prescribed by primary care MDs as well as other specialists.

Morning, no coffee yet, public edjumication.
I'll agree that the most likely scenario is that this guy's rights were trampled. It's interesting that the article mentioned he had committed no crime. So yes, maybe the precogs determined that he had not yet committed a crime. Just noting that there could be more info that the media missed. I hope it works out for the guy and that he gets his 'collection' back? Is that even enough to call a collection?
I was only talking about the .1%. That's about all we need to cause the gov't to go full regard on my rights.Getting a little off topic, but "Most pharmaceuticals CAUSE, rather than CURE psychotic behavior" is mostly wrong- like 99.9% wrong. Some of them might. There are many that allow people with mental health issues to lead normal lives. That field has come a long way since the 60's when they basically doled out chemical lobotomies. Agree that a wrong diagnosis could really screw someone up.

I've involved in making pharmaceuticals for 15 years. Every ingredient except the water we use has a skull and crossbones on the container. Granted, we are regulated better and have far more testing than a 19th century snake oil salesman.
