Is this the entity that exports rifles and shotguns to the US? If so it sounds like the supply may be drying up shortly.

The following entities have been added to OFAC's SDN List:

...

KALASHNIKOV CONCERN (a.k.a. CONCERN KALASHNIKOV; a.k.a. IZHEVSKIY MASHINOSTROITEL'NYI ZAVOD OAO; f.k.a. IZHMASH R&D CENTER; f.k.a. JSC NPO IZHMASH; f.k.a. NPO IZHMASH OAO; a.k.a. OJSC CONCERN KALASHNIKOV; f.k.a. OJSC IZHMASH; f.k.a. SCIENTIFIC PRODUCTION ASSOCIATION IZHMASH JOINT STOCK COMPANY)

It sounds like this really is the end of Arsenals and Saigas coming into the country until further notice. Pretty big move by Dear Leader, banning the import of the world's most popular fighting rifle with the stroke of a pen.

Did some reading up on an earlier attempt at these sanctions.

Found these:

Powder Alarm

Suffolk Resolves

while looking for this:

Arsenal imports Bulgarian kits these days with their SLR line. We are looking at the end of VEPR and Saiga though. I wonder if someone else will step in to fill the AK 12 gauge market.

This just made me pull the trigger on a VEPR in 54r that I've wanted for awhile.

trying to read that hurt my head and eyes.

so we could assume veper anything out of izmash (Saigas), tula? (if they are still making guns dont think so)

I hope you get it - or is it not made by the same company? It sounds like dealer inventory that's not already fully paid for could be subject to the order and have to be sent back or something.

Says in stock right now. But who knows. I have to call and set up the transfer before I click "pay". I hope they are still there in the am...
