That'd be the MG42, the baddest piece in machine gun development to date.
....and the hog is a lame excuse of a machine gun compared to an MG42

That is my favorite WWII Machine Gun. I have a 10/22 with the MG42 conversion kit on it. I also saw a Semi Auto converted one in a shop in NH. I had to ask how much and he told me he had just over $7,000 into it so I figure he'd want closer to 10K with the extras it had.
