I just found an old .22lr stoeger luger. I havent seen this pistol in a couple of years, but when I started cleaning the basement to set up a reloading bench and in a leather and wool pouch is this pistol. theres some rust on the barrel as espected but other wise it pretty sound especially since its gets ungodly moist in our basement. So as I look at it and I hand cycle the action it sticks, upon close obser. it seems theres so much lead build up and fouling that it sticks. so question to you guys is whats the best way to get rid of the lead, and also anyone know of any assembly/disassembly guides for this perticular gun.

IIRC my dad found this gun in the attic of my mom's fathers house after he passed away along with an H&R revolver .22 stuffed in a box, so its safe to say that this gun was probably never cleaned or taken cared of.

Shooters Choice - little glass jar with gold colored liquid inside.

Soak some patches and swab the piss out of it, if you can... will melt the
lead away. Let it "soak" for awhile and then wipe again with a clean patch.

The chore boy pad thing also works wonders, too.
