I will never vote for Baker again. He will likely be a one term governor if he loses the 2A voters like us.

I'm sure he is betting on all of the moonbat voters he could potentially pick up with his support of this crap to replace all of us.
He will surely learn however that you cannot out-democrat a democrat. Sorry Charlie, One and done.

You guys need to register all those non serialized 80% lower built AR-15 that you finished on Tuesday night. Don't you guys have a few days to register once once capable of firing

Another thing, when Black Lives Matter and whatever other lefty group starts disrupting life - get out there, near but not with 'just to watch' - the additional people will overload the police and cause real headaches.

You are missing my point, which was that having faith in the system to make things right is misguided at best. FYI, I am very well read in American history.

I did not miss your point. Let me try again: This is happening everywhere in America. Not just here in MA. Clear corruption everywhere. System is not working. This is why angry and fed up voters went for Trump and Bernie. This is exactly why!!!!

If you know American history you would also know that great American events never started with "waiting for justice to become better". Hell no! Small groups of daring individuals changed their obvious fate. Now we are at that crossroad again.

Let's not argue here. We need to use our creative juices against tyrant. That is what matters. I am sick an tired of hearing about MA. It is not MA, it is America I care about.

technically not yet, as you need to be a convicted felon, you are just an alleged felon until Mora sends her goons to serve papers, after libtard court finds you guilty, then you are PP and your FA-10 is the proof.

Although come renewal time, the Chief can question one's suitability for having abided by a law before it was changed such that one broke it.

R&R Sport Shop immediately complied with the letter, and spirit, of the AG's announcement yesterday regarding guidance on what constitues a banned assault weapon under Mass Law. Upon hearing the ruling went into effect Immediately, we tagged all potentially affected weapons as Not For Sale. We recognize that some dealers sold these weapons through the close of business yesterday, but we concluded that immediate compliance was the most prudent course, and such was confirmed in a conference call with the AG's Office. While we are not happy with the results of yesterday's announcement, we value the ability to run our business and desire to do so in the best possible compliance posture. Jim and Rich thank you for your continued support.

I swear to God, if any of you numb nuts register anything ever again; I'm going to kick you square in the nuts........and the obligatory keys, roof, upper decker.......

Let's keep an eye on how our LTC renewals go - I bet that is the next shoe to drop, give it up or no renewal and we seize it anyway.

My buddies in law enforcement who watch gang bangers get out of jail almost instantly and go on to kill had a lot to say about her "moral obligation" comment.

Mike

While I appreciate the sentiment, what they say right now means nothing. What will they DO when they come across a subject with a scary rifle? Will they defend me in court? Not likely. They will "just do their job" because their "hands are tied" and they "have no choice".

*I do not mean to direct this specifically to your friends or 2A friendly cops, but we all know what the cops will do when "following orders".

I don'[t see how throwing daggers at GOAL is helping. This is the time we really need to band together and not put a wedge between gun owners and the organization that has done nothing but help us retain our freedoms for all these years.

maybe make a suggestion that can help. Review the law, the letter, the billof rights...find a loophole to her loophole.

If you want to point fingers and cast blame point at the anti's, point at us who became complacent with an unconstitutional and oppressive law.

Don't kick the people who jump in the trenches for our freedom against an oppressive and out of touch government.

Anyway, my apologies for the rant. Just can't understand bashing the people that work everyday to fight for our gun rights in this communist state.

I would agree with you, though the truth is that GOAL isn't a white knight that will just have to walk in and can easily slay the dragon for us. Its not because GOAL isn't doing their job, its because its a government full of dragons that are excited to have their way with us.

Because "most" of us didn't know the ARs (and other rifles) we've have been buying since 1994 were illegal, we will likely be given an opportunity to turn them before we are arrested. Obviously they can't go after everyone, so they will pick choose whose door they kick. The majority of citizens in MA will support and, perhaps, even demand this takes place (for the children).

And a few of us will rip off enough ammo to make it look like ramadi in our neighborhoods. And we will be vilified and told we are being counter productive. Listen this is an all or none thing either we all go at once and do something about this bull shit. Or we all bend over and take it. No real in between.

"Governor Baker supports the Commonwealth’s assault weapons ban, believes our comprehensive state gun laws work well in protecting the people of Massachusetts, and believes that the attorney general has the authority to enforce the law to crack down on the sale of guns that skirt the assault weapons ban,” said Billy Pitman, the governor’s press secretary."

Hack.
Ya, and gov. Mini me Patrick believed in 7 round mags, eff him and the rhino Baker, the goon would not even show up at the republican convention.
Show him the door. Same as Patrick.

Please cite where anyone here has ever said that.

Here is the latest example that comes to mind from crazymjb. LINK
I think Baker has the highest approval rating in the country for a governor right now. Don't get me wrong, hes not my ideal candidate, but hes leaps and bounds better than Coakley. Hes alllmost libertarian... note I say almost. Hes not good enough on guns and drugs. I am very disappointed he wont be supporting Johnson due to his stance on drugs... he would have supported other repiblicam nominees despite their stances on gay marraige, abortion, etc, that doesnt jive with his beliefs.

He's almost libertarian, don't you know.

Anytime the subject of Baker comes up, there are a lot of people here who will call him out for the socialist that he is, but there are a sizable number who will talk about how "he's not that bad." That's how Massachusetts wound up being such a mess. People have voted "he's not that bad" for years and let outlandish crap slide from their public officials. It is now a banana republic.

my comment is like a time machine for someone who wants an AR but doesn't have one right now. It's like the last chance.

We need to decide where we want to be. Do we want to sit on the highway to make our point? System overload is already here. All European countries are maxed out. Their security structure is crumbling down. Our structure is nowhere near that yet but it shows severe lack of intelligence. We are missing smart people. What we are doing is not smart. Not only on a local level but also on an international level. I would like us to get involved in positive things. There will be plenty of opportunities.

GOAL and NRA are what they are. Thanks for them, but, as any organizations with the time, they became stale hobby organizations.

We need a new organization with the new mission.

Baker molded himself into MA voters. He did not come with any conservative or unique ideas. His spouse, mother, father, grandpa, told him he should be a politician one day. So, he gave it a shot. End of the story. You can't make a hero out of a crying politician. We are ripe for heroes in MA and USA.

Remember the next time you vote she won 61% to 39% in what seems to be the highest ranking most powerful job in the State.

We have to turn these numbers 10%. Votes are the only things politicians understand.

I'm sure many gun owners voted for her, I work with a few Obama and Hillary don't want your gun owners.

The Governor, Senate, and State Representatives all answer to her it seems. Vote to keep your guns and don't believe a vote for a third party sends a message to anyone. If Hillary wins Healy is posturing to be a Judge.

I found no information on Mass recall of AG either. Nor did I find information on her legal authority to issue such a directive. The AG office seems to have more self-declared scope and fewer restrictions than the Governor.

These issues need to be addressed as well. Perhaps a multiple front response.

Who watches the watchers?

So maybe it is time we as the people of Mass. interpret the law that we CAN recall her and put in place someone more fit. And anyone else who goes against the constitution also

This is not about guns.

You can print your own, you can build your own, and in the nearest future guns will be obsolete anyway.

This is about government we want and people we elect to help us to grow. We are tired from hearing how everything is getting better. Better where? Not in my corner! Time has come to leave the corner and step up into the ring.

The problem with go time is that we all have jobs, responsibilities, familes, et. al.

What a shit sandwich this is. I signed the Charlie Baker petition.
