"Hate Crimes" and 2A..

I've been keeping an eye on my BookFace feed, and one common remark that keeps coming up from the "safe space" crowd is that people of color, LGBT folks, etc. are going to face a significant increase in "hate crimes" with Trump being elected. Whether this is true remains to be seen. However, I did see a couple of pro-2A folks engage with these people, and suggest getting their LTCs and arming up if they felt that threatened and scared.

The response was an overwhelming NO.

Despite "fearing for their lives" as they claim, these folks are still so anti they 1. would never even think of getting a gun, and 2. still want to push gun control.

Someone even suggested OC spray or even learning basic self-defense, which was also shot down with a resounding no. Why?

"Because I have a RIGHT to feel safe, I shouldn't have to do those things."

The fact that you say this is very disheartening , I mean seriously where the **** are all these hate crimes, the only ones I have seen for 8 years are the knockout game( never any charges of a HC) ,blacks specifically targeting whites, OWS shitheads, riots, looters, political signs and HQs firebombed as well as many fake hate crimes that have been exposed as complete hoaxes like the gay waitress in NJ that a customer left her a nasty note FAKE, the black guy in VA who wrote the N word on his house before burning it down FAKE Mathew Sepherd FAKE the gay youtube star that recently faked his own assault FAKE. You know all those I listed have in common Democrat scum. The people in the center and to the right of the political spectrum don't act like that we go to rallies and wave Ol Glory and VOTE like we just did, we respect the rule of law, of course there are exceptions but lets not forget for a second which side the hate comes from.

I wrote that because they're making the assertion that it's true and going to happen, so we'll wait for the evidence (or lack thereof) to roll in.
 
I don't think we'll see an uptick in 'hate crimes', at least I hope we don't. I do think that when they happen they'll get a lot of attention and it will seem like there's more of it.

I especially believe this with respect to the LGBT community. The big anti-LGBT 'hate crime' was the massacre in Orlando which as really as much or more about an ISIS inspired lone-wolf wanna be terrorist. The LGBT community is pretty well accepted at this point.

Soo the violent agitators at Trump events that were paid for by their party leader of choice have successfully made them fear themselves? People are dumb, there won't be any hate crimes- except maybe to the muslims if they keep blowing shit up.

By the way, a Merrimack valley town received a ballot that threatened a bombing if Trump became the president of our country apparently.
 
Maybe we can expect to see a decrease in "mass shootings". They have increased 10-fold during the Bl-Obama Administration.

I had that thought as well. I always offer to take people to the range. This would just be an extension. But seriously, if anyone wanted to learn I would be happy to teach them and help them get their LTC. I see no downside to this.

From what we've seen so far, as shown throughout the election cycle, and now beyond it, it's the liberals that will be committing the hate crimes.

Typical of a certain mindset. By suggesting that women should be able to defend themselves, you are implicitly condoning the rape and assigning partial responsibility for what happens to the victim, and everyone knows that can never be possible, ever, under any circumstances.

The intelligent person knows that the crosswalk gives you the right of way.
The wise person still looks both ways for stepping out.
 
Obama himself was pro traditional marriage in 08, he ran on it. It wasn't until 2012 when he needed the gay vote he evolved, haven't heard a ****in peep about his hate.
 
I seen a lot of posts on Twitter regarding hate crime supposedly when Trump got elected. A lot of it I am calling a hoax. People are posting hand written, graffiti on walls regarding racial slurs, then signed with Trump.

If you have a Twitter account look at Shaun King postings. The BLM activist who spews nonsense. I go on there for shit and giggles and laugh at his liberal spewing against Trump. Trust me your head will boil after reading some of his followers posts.

THERE WILL BE AN INCREASE IN HATE CRIMES REPORTED.

Because the actual hate crimes being perpetrated against light-skinned individuals and conservatives will finally be reported for what they are.
