Greg Derr is the man!

As usual Greg at Derr Precision has done some amazing work for me.

Several months ago I picked up an old 1974 Colt Combat Commander Warhorse that was part of the IDF and finally retired due to its obvious deterioration. It was sold as a gunsmith special and I bought it with Greg in mind.

After a consultation with Greg he took the gun in to start restoring her. This is what she looked like at the start.



After a lot of TLC I just picked up the final product. She’s been restored to what I would consider it’s original fit and finish.



If you’re looking for a quality gunsmith look no further then Greg. Awesome work!!

I had him build me a 1911 a few years back that has been a tack driver for me. He definitely knows his stuff.

I have given him a few guns to do a trigger job and a few touches and he's very reasonable.
