I am going to be a delegate at The Republican Convention on April 28. Will have a chance to vote for one of these men. Most establishment Republicans are supporting Governor Baker but many of the activist base of the party are voting for Lively. Theses people are the conservatives and/or gun owners. And I know people who will not vote for either of them.

Who would you vote for?

I know I'm not voting for baker.
As a delicate maybe you can get those supporting the constitution and mass gun owners to get the 400+ gun owners to galvanize and come to gether

Tall Deval fooled me once. I will not vote for him again. I will vote for any conservative that opposes him.

Remember this image at the polls. These two playing games with civil liberties:

Hard to tell which one is the woman...

Baker is the worst. He's such liar. Very disappointed , Ma was duped thinking we had a republican. I’m not really sure who to vote for.

As a small business owner in ma I can say proudly....Baker can go lick the back of the ba!! bag of a small pigmy goat! He wont receive one vote from my household! Add in the douche nozzles hat he hangs with!...I wish them all an early death, I don't even feel this strongly about killary!

I'd say vote for the other guy unless he has gun grabbing record. Making politicians mobile and leave unless they actually work is a good thing.

Crying Baker increased the MASSHEALTH coverage without any reason and any real need. This resulted in a deficit which we are suppose to pay by doubling the unemployment taxes. He is a socialist who should join Democrats. He did not answer any of my letters when Maura was stepping on us. I supported him and I sent him a lot of money. He is an empty suit.

Baker will not be getting my vote that's for sure.
we need a good conservative to oppose him, we are basically living in a one party state
it's got to change

Baker lost me when he advocated for a national AWB.

I don’t care for the no-name running against him, but the only way to send a clear message to future Republicans is to make Baker sweat the primary; otherwise his eventual loss to Healey will just solidify the perception that gun-control is a winning platform in Massachusetts.

Lively isn't a no-name. He has helped create repressive legislation in Uganda, and argues that gays caused Nazis and Holocaust. Have whatever opinions you want on homosexuality, but that's untrue on its face. A vote for Lively is for an authoritarian.

If I were a delegate, I would turn in a blank ballot.

Who would you rather have? Dimples, or tall deval? As a practical matter, if you split the vote for Lively, we end up with Dimples running the show. GFL with that. Politics ain't pretty, nor do you usually get what you want.

If you want more of the same, keep on doing what we've done.

Face it. If Dimples runs were screwed anyway. She's a shoe in being a woman and gay. Add to her grandstanding actions and the libs get a tingle.
Hell we already had the first black man run the state now it's time for some more experiments.

Faker had the chance to keep the gun vote, but he defected for the liberal vote. No one in my family and many of my gun friends will not be voting for him. At this point, maybe dimples getting elected as governor will have less effect on gun owners. At the very least, she would not be in a position to make new laws or reinterpret them to fit her sick agenda against law-abiding citizens. Either way, it's a crap shoot.

OK, in the context of this upcoming election, tell me what viable options of something "different" are truly available.
What would the MA GOP do if a meaningful percentage of their voting delegates turned in blank ballots? Or write-ins?

I mean, the ideal option would be to present alternatives candidates. But the party is bigger than you or me. If we start making votes of no confidence (which is what a blank ballot is) they have the chance to know that people are unhappy. If we just rubber-stamp whoever they provide, we'll keep having "lesser of evils" elections.
