I went two years once without cleaning my old Glock 23 to see if I could break it. (It was neither my CC nor HD gun.) Nope. Worked perfectly every time.

Yeah, I'm thinking at least hose the thing out. Lol. You don't need to clean t, but if you're going to carry it I'd prefer to do so sans sand.

It's a glock. It's ugly. It's reliable. It feeds everything, goes bang every time. It's been around long enough that you know it's going to work, and that you can get parts for it. You can leave it stock, you can tinker with it.

I do however wish that they'd made it an 8 round mag as factory standard.
