G33/40 on GB

The barrel and receiver match... The bolt is a correct G33/40 but the numbers don't match.

Very nice. The only one I've ever seen in person, and was offered for sale looked like it spent 20 years on the Bismarck wreck..

There was one for sale at the last Springfield show. It was a descent example. Someone actually made the comment that someone bubba'd up a k98 LOL. I just laughed to myself. It was all intact and in factory form.

yeah and oddly enough quite a few Russian capture K98k's have G33/40 bolts.

Well this one closed and boy did I nail it!! The funny thing is, there were 2 other g33/40's that didnt sell for less money.

Wow, good call! I don't think that gun was as right as the seller thinks it is.... There were more numbered (misnumbered) parts on that than there should be.

That seller is notorious for not giving the whole story. I dealt with him one time on a G43 receiver that he said was not modified. When I got it, the sight ears were machined off. He did do right by me and exchanged it for another one he had.
