I believe that is the correct barrel, type 5. See the attached images. That book is an excellent resource. I used it identify all of the parts of my SC 1903A3.

While not a ‘collector’ and will never be able to afford to be one, I have 3 different variants. 1903, 1903A1, and 1903A3 (Smith Corona) and I’m sure there’s some great information in there.
