FYI: VLTOR MUR Upper Dust/Port Covers

I just bought another VLTOR MUR upper for my next build. It has a branded, polymer dust cover that none of the previous versions had. I emailed VLTOR and they informed me that all of their uppers will have polymer dust/port covers going forward. I won't debate polymer vs metal since it doesn't matter to me, but I thought some builders would appreciate the heads-up since changing them is unique on the MUR.

They should probably update their product images. I think they changed to polymer port covers over a year ago. I kind of like their cover over the basic one.

That's interesting. I bought my last one brand new in November and it had a steel cover. I suppose I stumbled onto some NOS.
