I picked up one of the Harbor Freight safes for a starter, with an eye to making it an ammo locker later. Paid $250 on sale, had it a year and it's good for the money.

mine arrived with small dents mid way up at the corners like someone dropped it on the lift gate. I e-mailed Walmart and they refunded me 25 bucks. Talk about cheap.

I believe you're referring to Jupin v. Kask, a civil case, in which the construction of the cabinet was not a determinative factor.

That could be it. It was a while back, so my memory of the case is/was fuzzy.
