Essential tools needed to work on your "precious"

I've built up my stash of guns for now and want to start to upgrading them. Since I like to learn the mechinisiams of things I own I figured I would try and do as much work on them myself as possible. That all being said I was curious what everyone here thinks are "must haves" when it comes to building, upgrading, and field stripping their guns?

I love my Tapco AR wrench. Especially the bottle opener.

Works on anything. I have them ranging from 1 pound to 16 pounds. There isn't a thing a BFH can't fix.
