In reality you have never seen a dem talking point you didn't love to regurgitate. That's one lens to view it under.
Personally, I'd be a lot more afraid of the government stepping in and telling FB how to do business. Forcing them to abide by laws that were never meant to be used in the private sector. That's VERY anti-capitalist. In fact I'd go as far as calling you a dirty commie!
Lol, the reality though is FB, twatter etc are whores. They will do whatever they have to do, to push their revenue streams. This censorship stuff got legs because Americans are a bunch of lazy f***ing skinflints, on average. Present company excluded. But unlike you guys most Americans won't sponsor websites or use anything that isn't "convenient. : because they're lazy. That's literally how faceplant, twatter, etc got all their power.
I disagree. Once those revenue stream have delivered a critical mass of wealth, some of those same companies begin to think beyond revenue streams and more about social activism, the celebrity status/media popularity of their CEOs and their social & historical legacies. If it was about revenue streams the sports franchises would have stayed out of politics/activism as would many corporations who are going woke and broke. It is definitely more than about their revenue streams.
