Was doing some research and came across this quote which was attributed to Poe talking about Boston:

"Their hotels are bad. Their pumpkin pies are delicious. Their poetry is not so good." - Edgar Allan Poe

I woner what he would say today?

The hotels are still bad, what happened to the pumpkin pie?, the city has no soul, therefore no poetry.
