Orlando has a bunch of ultra expensive public machine gun ranges and things similiar. would recommend avoiding. I havent done it but I've heard nothing but bad things about them.

FL's shooting scene is actually pretty lame amazingly enough. Short of owning enough land to shoot on there's not a lot of great options club/range wise that are affordable. That said I live 3 hours south of orlando so I'm not THAT familiar with it. But from what I hear from locals who know more, it's more of the same pretty much everywhere.

wondering why you would go to the trouble of planning and going on a vacation just to do the shit you can do at home. no need for a reply, just wondering aloud.

To be fair, I could be on vacation in Bora Bora in one of those on-water bungalows, and if I saw a gun store in the local village, I'd still check it out.

So it's been a few years but we went to Machine Gun America back before it got as big as it is today. It's just down the road from Orlando in Kissimmee. They have all kinds of machine guns, including a few belt feds. I'll readily admit that I had a lot of fun. But it was definitely a hit on the wallet.

I'm the same way, I even went with the regional director if IPSC Japan to visit the local (airsoft) gun store. It was hilarious to see a ZM AR-15 type hanging in the front window.
I can't imagine what that thing must have cost. A nice cantaloupe in the market @ Shinjuko station was about $60 US at the time.
Aldo made some Primo stuff back in the day.

As for FLA, I have heard that Universal is great!

Universal Shooting Academy that is, NOT Universal Studios.

Some places might have some really nice, big gun store.

If there was only one Bass Pro Shop in the U.S. and it wasn't the corporate fag it became, wouldn't you want to check it out if you were on vacation in the same town?

Fake news

We got ranges where people in prison jump suits cater to your trap shooting

They walk your gun up and they man the stations for community service
