Custom 1911 for NES member

This is a just completed 1911 Colt Series 70 for an NES member. Upgrades include a high rise beavertail,long trigger,Nowlin hammer, 10-8 U notch rear sight, EGW fiber optic front sight. A 25lpi flat mainspring housing. Grips are cocobolo. Finish is a high polish blue.

Greg, nice looking gun. What do you think of the 10-8 sights? Did you get a chance to test fire it? How would you compare them to a Heinie sight? Do you think the u-notch is an improvement over a square notch?
