Coyote today

They coyotes were out in full force this morning...got to my deer stand and heard them to the south...then around 615 I hear one let out a locator call...he was about 50yrds behind me...then heard a couple answers off to the left...they came right behind me following my tracks in!

If anybody asks why you need to carry magazines with 15+ rounds in a "rural" area, just show them this video.

California, but the concept carries over.

Not me or anyone I know, but this guy.....

Lol. A swift kick to that bottom jaw or chest would have sent this lil bugger packing. The pack of 7-8, they didn't attack.... Why shoot? Yotes know their limits, and are bitches to boot. Unless it's a pack of wolves, wild dogs are just a nuisance, not a threat. If they're attacking a pet though..... Light em up. Spend some time in the sticks..... Coyotes are just big squirrels.

I shoot everyone I can.we have way too many around here. They wreck plants at the fruit farm across the road. (Pustizzi farm )

You don't get it.

No, I get it... For the record I've taken dozens if not hundreds of yotes over the past ten years during the season (yote hunting is my excuse to open up my long range stuff outside of the range). My point is (I was unclear in the previous post.... Blame the beer) just because there's a coyote presence doesn't mean one should enter the woods, armed to the teeth, expecting an attack. Going out and culling the herd is something different.

If I had to choose one weapon while hiking in the woods, I'd choose permethrin.

I've never mounted a coyote .Quite frankly I never found them that attractive. Any rumors of a relationship with a coyote are false.
