Coyote Season

Just wondering if coyote season that is upcoming includes those wild coy dogs? I have seen and constantly hear them in the woods behind my house. For some reason I thought they were protected. Anyone know for sure???

Can't tell you about coy dogs but there was a report this morning about a dairy cow found "mutilated", allegedly by coyotes in Warren, on the Shepard dairy farm.

Which is why I ask the question. I have heard about attachs on pets and small children. There was that daughter of a police officer that was being dragged into the woods. The guy beat it off with a shovel. If the heard behind me grows food will get harder to find and they become more desperate.
