Not sure if you are serious? “Chief should be commended” for what? ?? Covering up, or downplaying, a couple felonies by one of his officers.
He should be fired for not Arresting the cop who STOLE the gun, then sold the stolen firearm.
Assume you meant transparency. Not sure how transparent he was, when he never mentioned stolen.
He should also be punished for using the taxpayers money to pay back the family.
