It's funny after the war he just returned back to the world and got on with life and people really didn't hear about him until there were doing research about the Marine Corps sniper with the most confirmed kills which they thought was Carlos Hathcock but Chuck was actually the holder of that title. Rest in peace sir. A true American legend
