Years ago I ran across a story about some Russians, out ice fishing, and drinking.

A large piece of ice broke free, and a helicopter was called to save them. I forget the exact numbers, but the rescue chopper could only take a bit over half of the stranded fishermen. Who would get on the chopper? Well, a fight broke out, and the losers were put on the aircraft. This way the winners could drink, fish, and drink longer.

I guess Ice Fishing values are universal!
