COLLECTOR ALERT! Special Issue Magazine

Guns and Ammo magazine is advertising that their special issue "Surplus Firearms" is due on newstands August 15th.

If you love collecting these old guns, MAKE SURE you pick up a copy! Very informative (but short) articles on history, disassembly and shooting impressions for each gun. Get one before they disappear.

I was disappointed in last years. It was a rehash.

They pretty much are a rehash of previous articles. One book that was a rehash that was cool was Shotgun News' Treasury edition. Of course I'll probably stil buy it. Its better than digging through od magazines looking for 1 article.

Thanks for the heads up i will also look for one and sice i have not had one
before even if its re-hash it will be new Hash to me, and JON J thumb
through it before you buy it!! that way you know whats in it and save the money, get out last years and read it for free! Ha, Ha, Ha, S.D.

Picked this magazine up yesterday. I have looked through it some, looks pretty good so far.

It's not bad, but I wish it was generally in the same format as last time - history, operation, disassembly, comments. Still a good one for the library.
