I was having trouble with one of the M1 Carbines I got, with it
having unreliable ejection. I sent it back with a note to the CMP,
and in just a week it came back with new slide, bolt, trigger housing, front sight, and barrel band. They test fired it, and sent me a hand written note with all the stuff they had done.
All this service, on a 60 year old surplus rifle...
