Yep, been available since the end of December actually. Honestly, they are a little overpriced for being luck-of-the-draw. Lots of people getting white painted VFW rifles. You can do better elsewhere.
I bought the higher grade rifle and it seems to be original wood thankfully

Even $1,000 isn’t totally out of line for a Service Grade M1917 these days, but I wouldn’t pay that unless I knew what I was getting. Buying sight unseen is a roll of the dice, and for me, they would have to be less than $1,000.

I do already have three M1917’s, so I guess I can afford to be picky.

I have not seen a 1917 for less than $800 in 10 years. God I wish I had them same gun stores and sellers near me as some of you , lol

cabelas in hudson has a few and gets more off and on; about the same price as cmp [less sometimes,. at least you get to inspect them
Yeah , 3 hour round trip on a good day. I have become very lazy. I would probably just order one from cmp at that point, lol

I would have to plan a day , HIt AHM, NEAG and that fruit stand near the AHM. So add another $500 to the rifle for travel expenses. Lol
