are cmmg AR parts any good? found a complete upper for sale on gunbroker for $550...didnt know the quality of them vs bushmaster or stag etc

thanx...i thought so...thought i remembered reading somewhere that cmmg does most of the manufacturing for the other companies and they just get stamped with different brand names
Don't confuse CMMG with CMT. Continental Machine Tools is one of the AR lower blank makers. The make them for others and are labeled with that companies name.
CMMG is a Class 2 manufacturer of both semi and select-fire AR versions for everybody. Quality seems to be good if you peruse the AR-15 and Lightfighter forums. They do get bad ones just like everybody else does.
