Planning on purchasing a Saiga at a MA dealer this weekend. This will be the Century Arms Saiga in 7.62x39.

Two part question - Does anyone have a list of the parts that were swapped to make this 922r compliant? ... So it is 922r compliant, what has been changed form the century arms configuration to make this MA compliant?

In their description this says not for sale in MA - http://www.centuryarms.biz/proddetail.asp?prod=RI1276M-N which makes me curious. Is this purely due to the 30rd mags?

I like to keep information on compliance in the range bag in case it ever becomes an issue and might help out.

Thanks

trigger group for sure = 3 us made 922r parts
safe to assume that handgrip and butstock are us made as well = 2 more 922r parts
most likely last required 922r part is piston.
to a total of 6 parts required for saiga.

not for sale in MA is because of the hi-cap mag.
other than that w/respect to MA AWB, rifles is fully compliant. stock is fixed, no bayo lug, no muzzle threads, no flashhider

unless you convince them to sell it to you w/o hi-caps
then you can pick them up locally pre-ban

better yet just get a saiga and convert it yourself. it's fun if you have time and inclination. but it'll cost you about $100-200 in conversion parts on top of price of the rifle, depending on what furniture you will want to have on your saiga.
