California man shot after calling cops 'pigs', charging them with steel bar

Oxnard Police Department bodycams show Adam Barcenas charging at a police officer with a steel bar saying "I hate you" and calling them "pigs" before he was shot and killed.

The man was near the police who pulled someone over and decided to attack the police.

Exactly that. I don't fault the cops at all for shooting someone attacking them with a crowbar. F the taser, that's for angry Walmart customers. I just want the same consideration if I have to defend my life and property. Yes, the stuff I throw out for recycling is more valuable than the life of a junkie or burglar.

Stuff like this will lead to laws dictating how close you can stand to a cop doing police work. In other words, a way to prevent recording of traffic stops by a 3rd party.
