I'm late to the party but are these legal in mass?

They seem like they would be. With a Glock 17, the combined weight is under 50 ounces empty. Whether it counts as a barrel shroud or not, who knows. It would depend on the cop or prosecutor. But, without a threaded barrel, it should be fine since the magazine is in grip of the pistol.

Another option would be to look at Flux Defense. But their collapsible braces are hard to get. They have a small manufacturing capability with high demand.

I reached out to them and they said they will ship to Mass but its up to me regarding the local laws. Figured I would ask on here and see if they have seen them at the local gun stores or if anyone has any experience with them.

What would make it illegal? Pistol brace? Nope. Optic? Nope. Alter bbl? Nope. Fwd mag? Nope. Vertical fwd grip? Nope

It’s analogous to attaching a brick to your light rail.

Same! I saw a video on YouTube and the Glock was filthy around the barrel (which makes sense). I'd think it would wipe right off, but they said otherwise.
