bulk 7.62 39

If it goes bang and puts a hole where I aim it, it's good enough for me!
Cheaper Barnaul ammo is highly inconsistent and therefore will not put a hole where you aim.

Seems to me it was Silver Bear ammo that had the little ball at the tip of the bullet. Don't know what that was about, but I found the zinc-coated steel cases tended to oxidize rather soon.
This is the cutaway of the Golden Tiger ammo:

I've seen very similar groups at 100 yards with an SKS between Golden Tiger and Tula, but the point of impact is different by several inches. I can't recall off the top of my head, but I think that I zeroed with GT and Tula was hitting high and to the right.

The only other difference is the smell. The Tula smells a lot more sulfer-y.

Tula in my 7.62x39 ar carbine at 50 yards groups ridiculously tight. I've only got 4 boxes left then I'm into my case of Golden Tiger, curious to see if POA changes at all and how it groups.

Golden tiger is very hard to find these days.

Nope! ..... go up to Collectable Arms and Ammo in Merrimack NH.. they seem to always have it in stock and for sale.
They sells it by 20rd box, 500 rds bag, 500 rds packed in a 30 cal ammo can and 1000rd packed in 50 cal ammo can.
I think standard box/case of 1000 rds goes for $250.
Best 7.62 x 39 around...primer and bullet are sealed!
