Boston PD Report on Recovering Firearm

Something I don’t think I’ve seen in any PD press release before. Not only do they name the caliber but the manufacturer and the firearm model. Nice photo too.

Every time in these articles they list the charges.....and every time there is some asinine one listed.

Every time in these articles they list the charges.....and every time there is some asinine one listed.

And many times they miss the serous charges. They picked up a known gang member in possession of a Glock with a switch a couple months ago. He was not charged with possession of a machine gun though…strange.

Check out their blog, bpdnews.com - The Boston Police Department's Virtual Community . It is interesting to see the verbiage, how the stop and "pat/frisk" (read: most like unconstitutional search) was justified, and what they were charged with. I have seen obviously neutered mags charged with "large capacity feeding device" and obvious 11+ round mags without it. Almost every gun has an 11+ round mag, sooooo maybe the mag capacity limit law isn't working?
