If I recall correctly, if you fail the Brookline test, there are no re-takes allowed for several months, I think 6.

That's correct. You must wait SIX MONTHS to try it again!!!

Boston is not that mean, you can at least try a second time. I don't know what happens if you fail both times however.

Maybe you make a "donation" to the Boston Police Benevolent League or whatever and things get "taken care of'"
